Some of my deepest concerns are the changes that are occurring in our planet's climate. Climatologists the world over are convinced that the use of fossil fuels to provide energy for modern civilization is causing global warming. That warming is manifesting in numerous ways, and those manifestations are only beginning. As the earth adjusts to the change in fossil fuel generated greenhouse gases (mostly carbon dioxide), the changes in climate will become increasingly traumatic for our children and other future generations.

In an effort to educate the public on issues of climate change, I work with a team of students and researchers who jointly create the website, energy.org.
